No Color with your Color

Call me silly but I’ve been wondering for a long time what those damn warnings mean when you validate your CSS. I’m talking about those ones that say, “You have no color with your background-color” and “You have no background-color with your color.” I never get it. It’s not like the color property is wrong or anything. I’d get confused and think I was just missing something and then ignore it (it is just a warning after all). Now finally, a comprehensive explanation. I get it now.
