Icon Creation Process for Disco

I love it when a designer breaks down their thought process. Trying to figure out how a designer arrived at a final solution is often an enigma. The amount of work that goes into designing the smallest things are usually completely transparent to the end user. All they see is that it looks nice (or often just that they don’t notice that it looks bad) and works as they expect it to.

Most of all, I love looking at sketches. I find it fascinating how different sketches are depending on the designer. It’s exciting to see the concept in the raw.

Check out Jasper Hauser’s post on how he created the icon for Disco.
